Victor, his wife Liliana, and their son Lionel (3) currently live in the garage of a home they share with three other families.  Before this, they were renting a bedroom in a home that was sold; the only solution they could find at the time was the garage in their current home. The family has limited access to the kitchen, living room, and bathroom, and Lionel is not allowed to play in the backyard due to the landlord’s concerns that he will destroy the garden.

Victor has worked at Schnetz Landscape Inc. for the past two and a half years, and has worked very hard to create a brighter future for his family.  They are debt free and have even managed to save $10,000 to help begin their new life!

The Vazquez Family desperately needs a space of their own, and has lived very simply and sacrificed to make their dream of homeownership a reality.  Habitat for Humanity is pleased to welcome Victor, Liliana, and Lionel to the Habitat Family!
