We believe in developing mutually beneficial partnerships with companies interested in supporting affordable homeownership opportunities.
Whether you want to bring a cause to your office, bring your team to an experience, or bring attention to your brand, we’ll work with you to provide an experience that achieves your goals and allows your company to unite philanthropic, marketing, and human resources investments.
There are many ways to partner with Habitat, but all have the same result: your team can rally around a cause that impacts them and their families, and, by working together, we build homes, communities, and hope that will last for generations in San Diego County.
What will we build together?
We’re committed to crafting a partnership that aligns with your corporate social purpose and business objectives.

Turn-key engagement opportunities
Team building with San Diego Habitat makes a great addition to any corporate partnership. Your company can invest in your employees while making a real difference in our community. Corporate team building with Habitat will challenge team members to communicate and work together to achieve a tangible outcome. Employees return to the workplace motivated, connected, and inspired.
Customized to your company’s needs
San Diego Habitat is able to capitalize on our brand and reputation in the community to reach both businesses and consumers throughout San Diego County in a new and different way. As a leading nonprofit brand with a global footprint working in 70 countries, we can help your business build awareness and trust by using our platforms and connections to other like-minded companies and people.
Team building with brand awareness
San Diego Habitat hosts fundraising events, home dedications, and groundbreakings each year and we invite corporate partners to sponsor and participate while creating brand awareness. Women Build, our signature fundraising event held each May, is designed to empower women on the construction site. We also host events around our other community services, such as neighborhood revitalization and veterans housing.
Gifts-in-kind make a difference
Donated products are essential for construction of San Diego Habitat homes and the continued operation of our discount home improvement retail centers — the ReStores. If your company has construction materials, home improvement items, furniture, or appliances you’d be willing to donate, those items are considered equal to a monetary contribution, and our team would be happy to provide a partnership package and benefits that align with your donation.

Make your donation work even harder
San Diego Habitat also offers opportunities to invest in our builds and our mortgage holdings! Our Homebuilding Investment Fund allows companies to provide upfront construction project capital funding and receive a modest return on the investment when homes are sold. Also, our banking partners can maximize Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) credits by purchasing San Diego Habitat mortgages and allowing us to leverage those funds to build homes.
Together, we can both build stronger brands — while we build a better world.
