We’ve been helping families build and improve places to call home since 1988.

Habitat was founded on the conviction that every man, woman, and child should have a simple, decent, and affordable home to live in dignity and safety.

Mission

Seeking to put God’s love into action, San Diego Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities, and hope.

San Diego Habitat for Humanity seeks to provide a world where everyone has a decent and affordable place to live.

We have an open-door policy and welcome everyone — of all races, religions, ages, genders, political views, or any of the other distinctions that too often divide people — to join us in our mission.

Habitat homes are built with generous donations of money, materials, and labor. Since 1988, San Diego Habitat has built or repaired nearly 400 homes throughout San Diego County.
