Lemon Street Rehab - Oceanside

In an effort to help alleviate blight in our communities, SDHFH’s rehab program, active since 2010, takes existing homes and rehabs them for purchase by low-income families, and has increased the number of needy families Habitat is able to serve.

This home, located at 1341 Lemon Street in Oceanside, is a 3-bedroom, 1-bathroom single family home that is 1,200 square feet. The beautiful, sunny home has three roomy bedrooms with new flooring, an attached 2-car garage, and a huge outdoor covered patio and backyard great for entertaining.

Mulberry Drive Rehab - San Marcos

In an effort to help alleviate blight in our communities, SDHFH’s rehab program, active since 2010, takes existing homes and rehabs them for purchase by low-income families, and has increased the number of needy families Habitat is able to serve.

This home, located at 1168 Mulberry Drive in San Marcos, is a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom single family home that is 1,600 square feet. The home features restored hardwood flooring and ceramic tile, an all new kitchen, solar panels, french doors, and granite counter tops.

3rd Street Rehab - National City

In an effort to help alleviate blight in our communities, SDHFH’s rehab program, active since 2010, takes existing homes and rehabs them for purchase by low-income families, and has increased the number of needy families Habitat is able to serve.

This home, located at 1137 E. 3rd Street in National City, is a 3-bedroom, 1-bathroom single family home that is 1,100 square feet. A beautiful rehabbed home with enclosed patio room, detached garage, restored hardwood and new tile floors, fully fenced with gated entrance, large backyard, upgraded kitchen and bathroom.

Foundation Lane, Phase II - El Cajon

San Diego Habitat for Humanity’s second build in El Cajon consists of 7 single family homes with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.  All the units are 1,283 square feet, have wraparound porches, carports, and have been designed to meet Energy Star 3.0 energy efficiency.  This build will expand the successful first phase of the Foundation Lane community, built in 2009 with the generous support of the Jimmie Johnson Foundation.

The first four homes were built during the 2015 Home Builders Blitz, an event where McCarthy Builders, Balfour Beatty Construction, RQ Construction, and Clark Construction built the homes - from the ground up - in just 5 days.  The last 2 homes of the community are currently being built by volunteers.

10th/Donax - Imperial Beach

This project consists of a six-unit townhome development. All the units are 1,356 square feet with three bedrooms.  These townhomes have been designed with energy efficiency and water conservation in mind.  Rain water is diverted to an underground holding tank located in the driveway as well as planters in the front of the units.  The orientation of the roof system has been designed to maximize solar panels.

Elm Street - Escondido

Habitat’s fifth build in Escondido consists of 11 new single family homes – five duplexes and one detached house.  The homes have three bedrooms and two bathrooms and are approximately 1,300 square feet.  Each home has a covered carport and private backyard.

10th Street Rehab - National City

In an effort to help alleviate blight in our communities, SDHFH’s rehab program, active since 2010, takes existing homes and rehabs them for purchase by low-income families, and has increased the number of needy families Habitat is able to serve.

This home, located at 2128 E. 10th Street in National City, has 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and is 1,420 square feet.   It has restored hardwood floors, new windows, remodeled kitchen, revised floor plan, tankless water heater, large backyard, new light fixtures, and great views!

Enero Court Rehab - Otay Mesa

In an effort to help alleviate blight in our communities, SDHFH’s rehab program, active since 2010, takes existing homes and rehabs them for purchase by low-income families, and has increased the number of needy families Habitat is able to serve.

This home, located at 3864 Enero Court in South Bay, has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and is 1,150 square feet.  It was beautifully rehabbed; taking the entire home down to the studs, the floorplan was reconfigured to be more family-friendly.

Building for the Brave at Lakeshore Drive - Lakeside

San Diego Habitat for Humanity is honored to present the first project of its Building for the Brave program in Lakeside, CA.  This undertaking will allow us to serve those who have served us by providing four townhomes for affordable homeownership by disabled veterans and their families.  The homes will be outfitted with state of the art finishings adapted to the special needs of the veteran.
