Olympia Temiquiani Beltran is a Yoreme/Chichimeca Mestiza, a community activist, a medical health professional and practitioner of traditional medicine. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Ethnic Studies from the University of California, San Diego. She has served briefly as a medic at the Oceti Sakowin Camp in Standing Rock North Dakota, as well as a medic for the Run for Salmon lead by the Winnemem Wintu tribe of Northern California Indians. Locally she has served on the Board of Trustees of the Centro Cultural de la Raza, and is currently a member of the Barrio Logan Community Planning Group. She is a mother of four and life partner to Barrio Logan champion, Brent Beltran.
