If you like to eat delicious tacos and love the work Habitat does in our community, we’ve got the opportunity for you! Tacos Libertad has selected San Diego Habitat to be their nonprofit partner for the month of November, donating ALL of their profits during the month to Habitat!
Owned and operated by the Cohn Restaurant Group Libertad donates 100% of profits to 12 local charities annually, with organizations rotating monthly. Profits constitute the money made after operating expenses, and the Cohn family guarantees a $3,000 minimum donation to each charity of the month, regardless of the venue’s monthly earnings. Libertad, meaning ‘liberty’ in Spanish, showcases an exciting lineup of globally inspired tacos ranging from shrimp, skirt steak and pork belly to duck confit and octopus, all at approachable prices. The house made artisan tortillas are made-from-scratch daily in the open-air kitchen. Rounding out the menu are traditional churros, Mexican beers and Blue-Sky natural fountain sodas.
