Many thanks to all who participated in our Unity Build events! We enjoyed spending time with you on the job site in Encinitas, sharing inspirational messages of hope and faith on our Unity Wall — to be shared with future Habitat homeowners — and at our virtual multi-faith unity service this past weekend.
Unity Build 2020 was a wonderful opportunity for faith communities of all denominations throughout San Diego County to come together and “build” as one, united by the notion that we are more similar than we are different and that we each have a role to play in ensuring all of our neighbors have access to a safe, stable, and decent place to call home.
We really needed this brief moment of togetherness and reflection on why housing is important to all, no matter our faith. Thank you again for being a part of it.
