Veterans Build 2024 Recap

Hundreds of volunteers joined San Diego Habitat for Humanity to provide necessary repair work for two veterans in San Diego County in the month of November. This work would not have been possible without the financial support of our corporate sponsors PNC Bank, Watkins Wellness, Veterans First Mortgage, Guild Mortgage, California Credit Union, Hatch Bank, Performance Contracting Inc, City National Bank, and Breckinridge.

Volunteers painted homes, replaced fences, installed pavers and walkways, replaced a retaining wall, hauled away debris, installed a flagpole, and created an outdoor patio space. These updates will allow two veteran families to live comfortably in their home for years to come. Volunteers also assembled and decorated playhouses that were then donated to families and organizations in our community.
