Project Description

Ballantyne | El Cajon

About the community:

El Cajon, the sixth largest city in San Diego County, is recognized for its diverse and vibrant community, safe and attractive neighborhoods, many parks and recreation centers, and award-winning schools and libraries. It is home to both global and internationally-known corporations and has an energetic downtown district with shops and restaurants the entire family can enjoy.

On the site of this community once sat a single, dilapidated home. We tore that home down, built five brand new ones, and sold one to the family who originally lived on the site! Two of the homes were built from the ground up in only five days during the Home Builders Blitz in 2018.

Community specs:

  • 5 detached, single family homes

  • 3 bedrooms

  • 1.75 baths

  • 1,283 s.f.

  • private yards
  • drought-tolerant landscaping
  • sustainable building materials
  • low-flow plumbing fixtures
  • energy-efficient Whirlpool appliances
  • 2-car covered carports
