Through its subsidiaries around the globe, Encore purchases portfolios of consumer receivables from major banks, credit unions, and utility providers.

San Diego Habitat for Humanity is pleased to be dedicating the first four homes of its newest affordable housing community in Logan Heights.  A total of 11 new homes are being built in partnership with local families in need of improved housing, and will be sold to them at a price they can afford.

At its City Council meeting on October 2^nd, The City Council of National City voted unanimously to support a new affordable housing community at 18^th Street and Harding Avenue in National City.  San Diego Habitat for Humanity and the San Diego Community Land Trust are collaborating to build better life stories for local hardworking families in need of decent, affordable ownership homes.

As part of Global Build Week, San Diego Habitat for Humanity will work alongside Bank of America employees in Logan Heights to build 11 new affordable homes for low income working families.  The homes are part of the Comm22 community currently under construction and will be completed in 2019.

San Diego Habitat for Humanity and its partner, Pacific Mercantile Bank, announced today that the Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco has awarded Habitat $205,000 from its 2018 Affordable Housing Program (AHP).  This grant will be used to fund the construction of nine of the 11 homes at Habitat’s Comm22 affordable housing community in the southeast San Diego neighborhood of Logan Heights.

A build event on Wednesday includes a major donation of $157,500 from The Home Depot and the hard work of 260 employee and vendor volunteers, who will help build homes and playhouses in support of Habitat’s mission of building better life stories for local families in need of improved housing.
