San Diego Habitat for Humanity is pleased to announce its continued partnership with Realty Income Corporation (Realty Income, NYSE: O). A donation of $100,000 and the hard work of 120 employee volunteers will help build homes and better life stories for local hardworking families in need of improved housing. Since the inception of the partnership five years ago, Realty Income has donated $525,000 and over 3,400 volunteer hours in support of Habitat’s programs.

Eleven Habitat for Humanity volunteers packed up their work boots and headed to Chiapas, Mexico this week to build a home for a family in desperate need of shelter. It’s part of Habitat for Humanity International’s Global Village program, which offers opportunities to build alongside families in global locations in an effort to build strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter. Trips are offered in Latin America and the Caribbean, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and the Pacific. The trip to Chiapas was organized by San Diego Habitat for Humanity, the local affiliate of the worldwide organization.
