Women Build 2015 a Huge Success!

With the help of our amazing volunteers, Women Build 2015 was a HUGE success!  We raised over $120,000--double what we raised last year!  We were also able to get a lot of work done on our homes in Escondido.  We greatly appreciate all of our teams, individuals, and sponsors for donating/raising the much needed funds to advance our mission to build homes, communities, and hope.  We hope everyone had a fun, empowering experience building with us.

We'd like to give a special shout out to our top fundraising team, the Roland Rockstars, who raised $15,000!  They are the winners of the Diamond Hammer Trophy!

We are also very fortunate to have many partners who donate all the goodies to Women Build, so that we can create a special day without spending the funds we’ve raised!  We are so very thankful to The Original Pink Box for donating all the incentives.  We are also very grateful to Star 94.1 for their help with promotions!  We loved having Jesse and Delana build with us!  Thank you to Landmark Dentistry (Dr. James Berry) and Jimbo’s for providing the yummy breakfast and fruit, Harrah’s Resort for the delicious lunches each day and sunglasses.  Holiday Wine Cellar, Stone Brewing Company, and Cute Cakes for the afternoon toast.  Also thank you to Bellus Academy, San Diego Spine and Rehab, Massage Envy, and Healing Hands for providing the massages.  Thanks to Pepsi for the beverages.  All of the items in the goody bags were donated also.  Please support businesses who support Habitat!

Thank you again to everyone for your time, support, and hard work during Women Build 2015!  The work we accomplished and funds we raised will have a huge impact on deserving families throughout San Diego.  Remember, we have builds going on year-round, so if you're itching to get another hammer in your hands soon...come join us!  Please visit our volunteer hub to sign up!
